The No Good Seeds is a Chattanooga-based music production studio, fresh on the scene and ready to work with artists looking for an edgier sound. The No Good Seeds believes in ears over gear, but stocks our studio with industry-standard mics, pres, amps, instruments, sound treatment, and production stack.

2022 CHATTANOOGA FASHION EXPO
Technical Production
Year two of the Chattanooga Fashion Expo was another multi-day event that included an exhibition at the Hunter Museum, an all day educational series at the Edney Innovation Center, and a two show extravaganza at the Chattanooga Convention Center. We partnered with Chattanooga Pro Audio for main event lighting and J Shamaz as our DJ and sound guru - it all came together for an incredible experience!

Another partnership with Shanna Forrestall of 4FC Productions! This intimate and exclusive event still had us running live audio, background music, and music choreography for a packed house - there was never a dull moment! Video by Demetrius Seay.
JOLENE, TOO
Full Band Reference Mix, Track Master (With Apologies to Dolly)
We worked with Shanna Forrestall of Forrestall Consulting to bring this parody of Dolly Parton's "Jolene" to life with a modern twist - "please, come get this man." This song was tracked, mixed, and mastered exclusively in our pocket studio.
2021 CHATTANOOGA FASHION EXPO
Technical Production
Lights, camera, fashion! (And sound!) We made Chattanooga's premiere fashion weekend happen for Shanna Forrestall and Chattanooga's Music Fashion and Arts (MFA) Foundation by partnering with DJ Sleepy, Chattanooga Pro Audio, and Scenic City Events. Events produced included a panel discussion at The Moxy Hotel, an exhibition at the Chattanooga Whiskey Event Hall, and the main event at the Chattanooga Convention Center. OH JEREMIAH | GIG CITY CUSTOMS

Hosted at Chattanooga's Gig City Customs, we teamed up with John Dooley to produce a live music video with Oh Jeremiah. Additional shouts to Kristy Graves for arranging everything via Chattanooga House Shows. We did everything for the event audio as well, and it was absolutely an experience we'll never forget!

Headliner Josiah Johnson at the Gig City Customs show, hosted by Kristy Graves! With just 8 tracks available at the time, recording Josiah's full band was an exciting challenge. The show was beautiful and intimate - and also inspired our Zoom L-20 live mixer-recorder upgrade! Video by John Dooley.

The No Good Seeds came partly out of our desire to self-produce The No Good Deeds, Chattanooga's uniquely irreverent Americana / Southern Gothic / Indie Rock band the poseurs love to hate. A trio out of Nashville we'd seen previously steal the show, The Harmaleighs came through Chattanooga for a second act with Chattanooga House Shows thanks to Kristy Graves and Black Creek Chattanooga. We put together the sound reinforcement, ran the board, and had a beer or two with the band.
